There may be an occasion when you need to place a skip on the public highway, including new building projects or house clearances. Any skip that needs placing on council land will need a road permit.

Many of our suppliers will be able to arrange a road permit for you at an extra cost. However some local councils will require you to organise a road permit before being able to order a skip ‘on road’

Choosing the right skip for your waste makes all the difference. For heavy materials like brick, rubble, soil, or hardcore, our skips upto 8 yards are ideal. As a general guideline, skips larger than 8 yards are not recommended for these heavy materials, as they can become too heavy for lorries to safely lift.

For lighter waste like wood, metal, or cardboard or other light waste types then any skip size is suitable, giving you the flexibility to tackle projects of all sizes. Whether you’re renovating a home, clearing out a garden, or simply decluttering, our skips are the perfect solution.

Hire a skip with us today and make waste disposal simple, efficient, and hassle-free.

  • Leave any prohibited items in the skip (see list above)
